Together with empathy: learning respect, inclusion and self-esteem.

This programme, started in 2018, is taught as a subject within school hours at schools and colleges. Its objective is to promote respect and inclusion, and to prevent bullying through activities with animals, working on the acceptance of differences, self-esteem, empathy and frustration management.

The one-hour-a-week sessions are supervised by psychologists and teachers, and have the support of skilled experts. The programme has been evaluated by the Affinity Foundation Chair.

Why we created this programme

This programme presents a new way of learning, without negative connotations and prior judgements.

Through learning about dogs and how we relate to them, we learn to respect each other, work as a team, be patient, identify emotions, put things into practice through trial and error, and accept differences among other things.
